Proving the existence of God

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
So what do you think, is there a God?
1.Look above and around
; why is there something rather than nothing?
Different responses:
illusion / universe is self created by nothing / universe is all there is.
; Universe proves that there is God.
a. Cosmological argument:
There must be a cause for every effect and God must be that cause.
b.Teleological argument:
The order of the universe is an intelligent design rather than a chaotic chance.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.)
The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.
2. Look within
c. Moral argument
all people have a concept of right and wrong.
d. “Sense of the devine” argument.
everyone has an innate “sense of divine” building within them.
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,
while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
3. What the Bible says who God is.
- Jesus is God Himself
-Is Jesus Lord of your life?
-Personal reflection
Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father’s side, has made him known.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
